This shirt is from the Singles tour Depeche Mode engage in, touring the world to promote their second greatest hits package. When the band would play in a city, a number of people where employed locally to help with the setup and tear down of the stage and equipment. These people were all given a Depeche Mode Crew Shirt. These shirts where not offered for sale anywhere. The only way to get one was to work as a member of the local crew on a Depeche Mode show.
In addition, there where at least 4 variations. They were white, green, pink and black. Each shirt represented a different aspect of the crew. For example, the people that where involved in moving materials around were issued a shirt of a specific color, while electricians and associated staff were clothed in a different one. This allowed the production manager to easily see how his human resources where being distributed.
These were only printed in XL size. No other sizes are available (and never were).
There are a VERY limited quantity of this item left. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. Thanks!
